Let Me Be - by Budwick
Well I'm sitting here in my little room,
Four walls around me and they're keepin in my gloom,
The dude on the radio says now is the time.
Now is the time, for you, not me,
Cant you see? that i'm lazy.
And I dont need nobody else, nobody else, nobody else,
Not even you.
Why wont you just let me be?
Why wont you just let me be?
My income's killing me, or what there is of it,
I might go down the drain, but I just don't give a shit,
My mum & dad they say, now is the time, now is the time,
For them, not me, cant anybody see, that i'm not lazy,
I just want to do my own thing,
Is that such a crime?
Why wont you just let me be?
Why wont you just let me be?
Let's look at this in a national sense,
there's too many of us sitting on the fence,
society it prods and pokes,
and pushes you around like you're a joke,
they might say that i'm wastin their time,
and the governments money like it's a crime,
The would put me in a factory before they'd
ever try and find out what was me.
Why wont you just let me be?
Why wont you just let me be?
Why wont you just let me be?
Why wont you just let me be?
